Group Accommodation

Canberra Park was designed to specifically meet the needs of all type of groups travelling to Canberra including schools, sporting teams, corporate retreats and Clubs.

The planned layout of the centrally heated accommodation pods allows small groups to book individual spaces or larger groups to accommodate all spaces within Canberra Park.

Within each accommodation pod, individual bunk rooms open onto a communal area allowing for both supervision and privacy. In addition to the accommodation pods, Canberra Park offers 40 single and twin rooms to accommodate supervisors and teachers. Accessible rooms are also located within each pod. Coach captains are accommodated in a separate building within Canberra Park.

Group Dining

The modern Homestead dining room seats up to 400 guests and offers hot and cold buffet style breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in-between. Late supper after a long day exploring Canberra is also a guest favourite. An on-site Chef prepares meals tailored to meet the needs of each individual group and menu’s feature nutritious and tasty dishes utilising local produce wherever possible.

There are also menu options to cater for supervisors, coach captains and guests with specific dietary requirements.

The Homestead is connected to the accommodation pods via brightly lit, undercover pathways for easy and safe access. The dining room is also available for separate functions and can accommodate group lectures, presentations and trade displays outside of meal service times.

Coach Facilities

Our coach access and facilities have been designed to make arriving and departing an easy exercise for our coach companies and our guests. We appreciate at Canberra Park that the majority of our groups arrive via coach and therefore we have 12 parking bays specifically for coaches.

Parking bays are located within direct proximity of reception and the accommodation pods, so when our visitor’s arrive everything is within easy walking distance which makes the check in process convenient and efficient. Coach drivers are responsible for the safety of many people, so we want to ensure they are well rested and comfortable whilst staying with us; we offer a separate accommodation area to relax, and a specific menu for our driver’s prepared by our in-house Chef’s.
